The Triangle Interactive Marketing Association (TIMA) February “Lunch & Learn” will feature Phaedra Boinodiris, IBM’s Serious Games Program Manager, on February 10, 2010 at Marbles Children’s Museum. The program begins at 11:30am.

Inspired by IBM’s Smarter Planet campaign, Boinodiris will discuss how our planet is more interconnected, intelligent and instrumented than ever before. “Technical innovations are being leveraged across industries to revolutionize and optimize businesses, cities and the environment,” said Boinodiris. “Serious Games explores how we can utilize that innovation to create an increased connection and understanding with potential and current customers.”
In addition to being the Serious Games Program Manager at IBM, Boinodiris is also the founder of the award-winning INNOV8 program, a series of games that teaches and evangelizes Business Process Management. INNOV8 is being used in over 1000 schools worldwide and is now available for public consumption.
